Hello to everyone from another holiday post and ancient city presentation. The place I will introduce to you this time is the ancient city of Antandros, which I visited on my holiday trip recently. It can also be called Antandros Antique City or Ruins; It is a not very large but quite beautiful place located between Akçay district of Balıkesir province and Altınoluk town.

I think the reason for this is that people who used to live here know how to enjoy life and that they can benefit from the opportunities of the sea such as trade, fishing, etc. and build such cities.

I guess this is not a well known place. Because when I went there, I did not see a crowd like in other ancient cities. It had only one keeper and was occasionally visited by visitors. According to the information I learned from the guard there, Antandros belonged to a noble named Maskarites in ancient times and this place consisted of 6 rooms.
This information brought to my mind the Spartacus series. Viewers will remember. There was a noble family there, too, and they were training gladiators in a mansion far outside the city. Who knows? Perhaps the Mascarites were the owners of the gladiators.
