Yesternight, while we where trying to prepare for dinner, I sent my kid bother to help me get something, he openly and blatantly refused.
When I got tired of talking, my mom got angry and was scolding him for behaving in such a wrong way. She even went as far as wanting to flog him, stating clearly that he was wrong and had no right or whatsoever to refuse responding to my message.
Then, as he was been queried for it, he sadi i am owing him some money and still expects him to go or run errands for me? that it wasn't ever going to be possible. i had to plead with mommy to let him be, and gave him his money.
Then few minutes later, I bought a snack and shared to his brothers. I refused giving him, he was shocked and pained at the same time. But unfortunately he could not say a word.
Later, I played a movie that was related what he just acted. At first I refused him from watching, later I allowed him to.
Before the movie ended, he was already crying. I asked him why and he said, do they have to travel and leave him with the maid simply because he didn't go on an errand?
I openly told him that what happens to kids who refuse to go on errands.
He went on his knee and apologized in tear, he was an emotional person, so I used his weak point to teach him how wrong he was. After talking to him, I gave him his money. Even till this morning, he still feels sober for his actions.
