Curation and Changes Being made

True there are bots that tend to follow other bots with the voting. I think there are other methods that can help with the curation rewards, and according to https://steemit.com/witness-category/@fyrstikken/the-big-voting-game-change-proposal some of the changes that I think could help the overall efforts of curation are already being address, their are people that are working on finding ways to fix the issue.

Having been here almost 2 months the 1 big issue I find is that steemsports@steemsports both receives a lot of votes and it also gets really high payouts. This to me has really been discouraging in that I have worked hard on some posts and I don't get hardly any reward for some of my efforts. Now this is two fold I have also been one voting on the steemsports@steemsports since they have been actually paying the rewards like they claim. I think the proposed changes that are going to start taking place based on the article by fyrstikken@fyrstikken will greatly help.

I seen that people who have been here longer than I have also tend to get more votes, or more consistent votes, but that just tells me that in time I should also start to see those kinds of changes with my posts as in more votes, or higher payouts. So that is encouraging.

I know some people are suggesting a change to make the content be viewed before a vote will count, that would not be a hard work around, but it still could be done. Might kill the curation tails which are there to help get newer users recognition, so that could be both beneficial being you know the post was read, but bad being new users have a much harder time to get recognized.

I think there are many possibilities that can be looked into, I'm interested in seeing what others have to say about it.
