Man is a dreamer! A dreamer because every part of him wants something. He looks far beyond and visualise a life different from the one he's living.
I'm yet to see a man without a dream. The dream is either small, big or too big. For others, they have great dreams.
Not all of these dreams are realistic and not all are pursued. Many of them die immediately they are dreamt.
Others face the test of time and became realities. These are dreams that came to fruition and those dreamers transformed themselves to achievers.
It is one thing to dream, it is another thing to achieve it. A dream that would not be achieved should not be dreamt in the first place.
If you can dream it, you can achieve it. Nothing too great enters a man's mind except he conceives it as great and unachievable.
Provided you tied it to your will and determined that you will see it through, you will. But don't deceive yourself or let anyone deceive you that it would be a smooth journey.
It wont and in fact, the smoother it is the less adventurous it becomes.
Imagine running a race with yourself. You started the race and completed it alone. What is victory in that? The victory in you fighting against all odds and obstacles.
The victory is in the story you tell about those rough roads, those big challenges that made life so unbearable, those slight negatives that set in and you almost gave up.
Those are the things that inspire and truly tell your story as dream fully achieved.
People hear and appreciate the stories of achievers and successful people. Nobody cares about your failure.
It is part of life and they expect you to fail one way or the other. Your ability to push forward and push through is what defines the outcome.
Until you have a success story to tell, don't tell any. The truth is, those you intend to tell it to have faced worst, some are still facing worst scenarios than yours.
So what is the impact of your dream story if it is not accompanied by achievements?
Dreaming is good but achieving is better. Dream and achieve, don't just dream.
