This number doesn't show anywhere Not directly but you can subtract the current supply from the virtual supply. Both are shown on hiveblocks.com but the virtual supply (bottom number) is not labeled there.

Be careful. There is a proposed token distribution, where a lot of it goes to previous UST owners and previous stakers. Understand what you're buying, and also how to make sure you get the airdrop (if

I don't know why that is happening. I would suggest increasing the price you bid a little above the sell order price. I can't disagree with the premise of this post.

Someone needs to build an API that provides exactly the data they need (I'm not 100% sure what that is) and then host it, or add it to the hive code so the standard API servers provide it. And then work

These various projects have always been speculative. And the value of BTC is speculative as well, though BTC itself is about as solid as it gets in crypto, independent of its particular dollar value.

To be clear I don't think the 25% fee as presented here is a good idea. My only point is that doing so does not "move the peg" and make no difference, as has been claimed. There are multiple

It's apparently going to be forked with an airdrop for people who own the old token, so there is a reason to buy it (at some price) if you think the new version has a chance. I guess this isn't finalized,

There's nothing pushing it down to 75 either. It's all speculative value within the band, and currently the band (according to conversions) is 1-1.05. HBD hits the lower bound at $1 frequently because

The internal market doesn't even display trade history I could swear it used to. Was it removed? Let's assume the mean price feed for Hive was telling us Hive was worth 46 cents externally It doesn't really.

UST had burning (conversion). That didn't save it either, so that's not a good argument. With conversion at 75, that would be a hard-ish lower bound, but that isn't the same as a peg. This effectively

Which is a Safe Retirement Investment plan? Neither. Blockchains are experimental and have inherent risk. Likewise for anything built on top of a blockchain including HBD. Everyone can make their own decisions

Sure free transactions are super cool, but thats hive and not necessary HBD Well it's both. It IS an advantage of HBD over other stablecoins unless they have some way to do free transactions.

You are changing the peg from $1 to $0.75 essentially I don't agree with this because there are other places that the peg applies, such as choosing between 50/50 and 100% HP payouts. If HBD gets too much

Agree there should be a way to not have to deal with curation as a passive investor.

If tether bust, hive drops 99% too, no matter we use it or not LOL good solution!

IMO an impossible to solve the problem I agree IF you are actually claiming that it is stable no matter what. But with a haircut, we do not claim that. I don't think this is impossible at all. Yes, it

I'm not even sold on DAI being better in any useful way. For one thing, a lot of its collateral is USDC (used to be the majority, but less than that now). What's the point of that? Until you show me a

One thing I like about the haircut is that it tells people HBD is not risk free. You are being explicitly told that you are taking risk. If HIVE fails to hold enough value, there is no nonsense about how

It's designed to lose peg instead of self destruct the entire chain like Terra. Neither is really good, but the former is certainly less bad than the latter.
