Has anyone tried controlling ticks and chiggers using quail? I know guinea hens work well, but they are so loud, and prone to wander and get eaten! I have read that quail can be cooped like chicken, and when released, they will mostly stay for the food. They are claimed to be sudden death for ticks and chiggers! I have found where to buy eggs, but I am not sure if it is worth the outlay. Has anyone done this successfully? THANKS!
