Good afternoon hivers, hello @Niddleworks have missed everyone due to some technical issues but its fixed, now am back fully with a new style to satisfy your taste, going down the fashion lane. Trust me you'll love whats in the box, "hold your breath" while i open it. 馃榿
One of my customers brought this pair of material馃憜 (plan&pattern) last night and pleaded for it to be ready by this morning, and i was already so stressed out due to the 8 work i did in the afternoon but i couldn't refuse him because its was late already and he wouldn't have gotten it done anywhere, while he was suppose to wear it today to a function so i had to manage. Funny enough he came with a description of a design he saw online, without pictures he explain it orally and i was getting upset the more coupled up with the fact that i had to compromised, 馃榿 i just took a chill pill and Sketch what he wanted then i ended up at this
and this was the response i got from him i was so glad he loved what i gave to him, so i will be showing you guys how i made the top alone, because trousers are complicated so i thought of doing a full section with pictures showing the steps on how its been made but for now lets concentrate on the top making first.
How its been sewed:
FIRSTLY
i was so confused on which one i should use for the top, i just decide to go for the less occupied which was the plan one because with the plan anything will perfectly blend, (first instruction before you start anything not just sewing alone its advisable to take few minutes to program how you'll want it to turn out). right after the sorting process, i place the cloth on my cutting table
SECONDLY
I took the remaining pieces from that other material i used in sewing the trouser and i curved a size of 2inchs and 15inchs length out. 馃憞
i ironed it along with bending of the two side to get rid of the roughness, after that i placed it on the front of the cloth, allowed it to rest on it own to avoid folding at any point while am sewing it to the front of the cloth, this is how it will look like when your done 馃憞
Am enjoying this already 馃榿 its fun right?
Yea, i know, okay let proceed.
THIRDLY
you'll make another curve about 4inch size, 7inch length for the two curve by the side, you will use that馃憜 measurement to cut that the first one close to the hand while for the down part you'll take 4inch at the top then it will slop down to 1.5inch on your tape
FOURTHLY
Still on that same material you cut out a straight one of about 2inch size just like the first long curve so everything will be balanced and attractive, 2inch size, the length will be on how long the cloth is as you can see mine, so you take the length to the end of the side, this is how it will be looking like when your done with the front馃憞
In for sections have showed you guys how to make a unique design with your (plan&patterned) material.
Now lets move to the neck,
Now for the shoulder part i closed the right side and i used (readymade) zip for the lift side,
the body of this zip is not meant to show after you've finish putting it, only the head of the zip should show and its takes carefulness as well as focus for it to be achieve, i could remember when i first learn how to put this zip i knew how many i damaged 馃檲馃檴 can't believe i said that 馃槖馃様but its was just to make it look professional. 馃榿 but thank God today am an expert at it. (One if this days i would do a special section, step after steps on how to attached a readymade zip to the should of a cloth) #just stay turned i have a lot to share that would help upgrade your pattern of sewing i promise.
And after the hole zip putting of a thing, when you survive it 馃榿, you that trim the shoulder to the persons measurement you took then you insert the hand to the body and join the back to the front according to the persons chest measurement you also took, then the finial thing is to bend and sew the length to the persons measurements you had taken.
