As we approach the 4th edition of posters, I present to you the poster for Fire Wolf. I truly felt a significant challenge for this design as I had to shape the layout and contrast warm colors against a black background. So, I decided to take my time for the design and approached it in the following way...

Ya acerc谩ndonos a la 4ta edici贸n de posters, les presento el p贸ster para Fire Wolf. Realmente sent铆 un gran reto para este dise帽o porque ten铆a que conformar el dise帽o y contrastar los colores c谩lidos con un fondo negro. As铆 que me propuse tomarme un buen tiempo para el dise帽o y decid铆 realizarlo de la siguiente manera...
To begin explaining, once the creature was placed, I highlighted its outline with neon colors and started to figure out how I could position the title, as I wanted to avoid a flat title.
Para comenzar a explicar, una vez colocada la criatura, realc茅 con colores ne贸n su contorno y empec茅 a pensar en c贸mo podr铆a ubicar el t铆tulo, ya que quer铆a evitar que fuera un t铆tulo plano.
I started designing and applying effects to the text. As you can see, I tried various styles, but I wasn't satisfied with leaving it in white. Considering the contrast I wanted to achieve with a volcanic background, white would draw too much attention in the poster. I didn't want the title to overpower the view, so I proceeded to give it a style that was visible and suited the creature's environment.
Comenc茅 a dise帽ar y a aplicar efectos al texto. Como podr谩s observar, intent茅 varios estilos, pero no qued茅 satisfecho al dejarlo en blanco. Dado el contraste que quer铆a lograr con un fondo volc谩nico, el blanco se llevar铆a demasiada atenci贸n en el p贸ster. No quer铆a que el t铆tulo dominara la vista, as铆 que proced铆 a darle un estilo que fuera visible y se adecuara al ambiente de la criatura.
I set out to do it again, and once satisfied with the letter design (blurred with the smudge tool), I made 2 more copies. To the first layer, I applied a Gaussian effect, to the second one, I applied a gradient between orange and black, and the satin effect would give it a reflection that a bevel would complement well.
Me propuse a realizarlo otra vez y, una vez conforme con el dise帽o de la letra (difuminada con la herramienta dedo), hice 2 copias m谩s. A la primera capa le apliqu茅 efecto gaussiano, a la segunda le apliqu茅 un degradado entre naranja y negro, y el satinado le dar铆a un reflejo que luego un bisel acompa帽ar铆a mejor.
Once a certain upper part was set, I started by making the lower part, where the text was "WOLF" with a font that was understandable and elegant. If you pay attention, the black and white in the final design complements the composition well, allowing it to read well and accompany the creature. Because if we look at the "fire wolf" it has in its body a division between dark and white shades and being so, we transfer it to the design.
Una vez conformada cierta parte superior, comenc茅 por realizar la parte inferior, donde el texto fue "WOLF" con una fuente que fuera entendible y elegante. Si prestas atenci贸n, el blanco y negro en el dise帽o final complementan bien la composici贸n, permitiendo que se lea bien y acompa帽e a la criatura. Ya que si observamos al "fire wolf" tiene en su cuerpo una divisi贸n entre tonalidades oscura y blanca y siendo asi, lo trasladamos al dise帽o
To be precise in the description, I selected a background with a volcano and applied light corrections with curves and levels to give it a subtle visibility. With a background blur, I invited the viewer to focus on the creature, which is the most prominent and centered.
Then, I used an ash texture that, with blending modes, sets the atmosphere for the essence emanating from the "fire wolf". As you can see, it relates perfectly alongside the typography and the fill background.
Para ser preciso en la descripci贸n, seleccion茅 un fondo con un volc谩n y apliqu茅 correcciones de luz con curvas y niveles para otorgarle una visibilidad sutil. Con un desenfoque de fondo, invit茅 al espectador a centrarse en la criatura, que es la m谩s enfocada y se ubica en el centro.
Luego, utilic茅 una textura de cenizas que, con los modos de fusi贸n, ambienta el p贸ster para la esencia que emana del "fire wolf". Como pueden ver, se relaciona perfectamente junto a las tipograf铆as y el fondo de relleno.
To finalize the details, I placed a black circle underneath and used the Gaussian blur effect to smoothly create the shadow of the wolf. To finish, I added plastic textures and, satisfied with the poster, decided to conclude it. I hope you liked it. See you soon in the last MIU poster... for now.
Para ultimar detalles, coloqu茅 un c铆rculo negro debajo y utilic茅 el efecto gaussiano para difuminarlo de manera prolija, creando as铆 la sombra del lobo. Para finalizar, utilic茅 texturas de pl谩stico y, conforme con el p贸ster, decid铆 terminarlo. Espero que te haya gustado. Nos veremos pr贸ximamente en el 煤ltimo p贸ster de MIU... por ahora.
