In the presentation of poster number 15, I bring you a concept inspired by SAW movies. I specifically focus on conveying a "message" about the media, highlighting television and its tendency to distort realities to favor certain interests. Also, in this album design, I will share how I redesigned the generated image and applied new techniques that I have learned.

En la presentaci贸n del p贸ster n煤mero 15, les traigo un concepto inspirado en las pel铆culas de SAW. Me enfoco especialmente en transmitir un "mensaje" sobre los medios de comunicaci贸n, destacando la televisi贸n y su tendencia a distorsionar realidades para favorecer ciertos intereses. Adem谩s, en este dise帽o de 谩lbum, compartir茅 c贸mo redise帽茅 la imagen generada y apliqu茅 nuevas t茅cnicas que he aprendido.
DESIGN
To start generating this image, I doubted whether it really deserved a design, but I set out to make a change to combine my message and, at the same time, practice my skills. Despite there being a pre-design, it's not bad for designers to dare to propose changes to an already "finished" image. So enough talk, let's design.
I began by placing a text with its respective title, "DISTORTED". Logically, I had to apply that effect to the title. I made an extra copy of the text to apply more motion effects while still maintaining clarity.
Para comenzar la generaci贸n de esta imagen, dud茅 si realmente merec铆a un dise帽o, pero me propuse realizarle un cambio para combinar mi mensaje y, al mismo tiempo, poner en pr谩ctica mis habilidades. A pesar de que exista un predise帽o, no est谩 mal que los dise帽adores se animen a proponer cambios en una imagen que ya est谩 "lista". As铆 que basta de charla y manos a la obra.
Comenc茅 colocando un texto con su t铆tulo respectivo, "DISTORTED". L贸gicamente, deb铆a aplicar ese efecto al t铆tulo. Realic茅 una copia adicional del texto para poder aplicar m谩s efectos de movimiento y que a煤n se siga entendiendo.
To proceed and make changes, I blurred the background and cropped the main character to place the text behind it without issues. I also changed the colors to an achromatic scale to highlight the detail that I would add later. Thus, applying a "ruin" effect on top of the main object, I complemented the message of the decline of TV and "stop believing everything that is reported."
Para proceder y realizar cambios, desenfoqu茅 el fondo y recort茅 al personaje principal para ubicar el texto por detr谩s sin problemas. Tambi茅n cambi茅 los colores a una escala acrom谩tica para resaltar el detalle que agregar铆a m谩s tarde. As铆, aplicando un efecto de "ruina" por encima del objeto principal, acompa帽茅 el mensaje de la decadencia de la televisi贸n y de "dejar de creer todo lo que se informa".
To add a crucial detail, I couldn't pass up the red color to highlight it even more. This color palette is one of my favorites as it conveys elegance, darkness, and is perfect for relating to serious yet well-stylized messages.
I added a "grunge" style cross, and although it didn't look bad when blurred, I decided to "DISTORT IT" (laughs). How convenient, right? Well, of course, I had to distort it and honor the title. So, by giving it a movement, it forms a spiral, gets blurred, and is perfectly placed in the background.
Para agregar un detalle esencial, no pod铆a dejar pasar el color rojo para resaltarlo a煤n m谩s. Esta paleta de colores es una de mis preferidas, ya que transmite elegancia, oscuridad y es perfecta para relacionarse con mensajes serios pero muy bien estilizados.
A帽ad铆 una cruz de estilo "grunge", y aunque no quedaba mal al desenfocarla, decid铆 "DISTORSIONARLA" (risas). 驴No es conveniente? Pues claro, deb铆a distorsionarla y hacerle honor al t铆tulo. As铆 que al darle un movimiento, queda en forma de espiral, desenfocada y ubicada perfectamente por detr谩s.
Therefore, separating the background blur and providing a clearer view of the cables, I started adding textures and texts to fill certain parts, which logically go hand in hand with the message. So, I hope you liked this process, and truthfully, it's a pleasure to do it as it allows me to delve into other design styles and kick off the year with everything! See you in another session.
Por lo tanto, separando el desenfoque del fondo y dando una visual m谩s clara a los cables, comenc茅 a a帽adir texturas y textos para rellenar ciertas partes, que l贸gicamente van de la mano con el mensaje. As铆 que espero que te haya gustado este proceso, y la verdad es un placer realizarlo, ya que me permite expandirme a otros estilos de dise帽o y empezar el a帽o 隆CON TODO! Nos veremos en otra sesi贸n.
