Hello, Alien Art community!
Once again, I'm here to make an entry in my own style for this new contest. This time, I've chosen the theme "CHAINS" because it can signify many things, but I'd like to approach it from the perspective of how we sometimes get trapped in our own thoughts, becoming prisoners of our own minds.

Una vez más, estoy aquí para participar en este nuevo concurso, y esta vez he elegido la temática "CADENAS". Me parece que esta palabra puede tener múltiples significados, pero quiero enfocarme en el concepto de cómo a veces nos quedamos atrapados en nuestros propios pensamientos, como si fuéramos prisioneros de nuestra propia mente.

REFERENCE // REFERENCIA

Starting from the reference image, my goal was to convey the feeling of a "headache" and incorporate it into my design. I made slight changes to the clothing to give it a cyberpunk style, and I positioned a skull above the subject, aligning it appropriately with the perspective.

Partiendo de la imagen de referencia, mi objetivo era capturar la sensación de un "dolor de cabeza" y plasmarlo en mi diseño. Modifiqué ligeramente su ropa para darle un toque de estilo cibernético y posicioné una calavera por encima del sujeto, ajustándola cuidadosamente a la perspectiva.

Once the design was deployed, I proceeded with its placement. To stay true to my concept, I chose to keep it in shades of gray, which conveys a sense of sadness and negativity, reinforcing the idea of being a prisoner of one's thoughts, as mentioned in the description. Then, I opted for a background with yellow letters. Even though they may not have a direct connection, I aimed to leverage color psychology, as yellow conveys positive emotions and energy due to its association with the sun.

Una vez que desplegué el diseño, pasé a su colocación. Para mantener la coherencia con mi idea, decidí mantenerlo en tonos de gris, lo cual evoca una sensación de tristeza y aspectos negativos, reforzando así el concepto de estar prisionero de los pensamientos mencionado en la descripción. Luego, opté por un fondo con letras amarillas. A pesar de que no guardan una relación directa, busqué aprovechar la psicología del color, ya que el amarillo transmite emociones positivas y energía, debido a su asociación con el sol.

I added two texture styles, glass and glossy paper, to achieve a transparent effect with striking reflections. Furthermore, I included glows as a subtle nod to the jacket, referencing my name.

Añadí dos estilos de texturas, el vidrio (glass) y el papel brillante, con el fin de lograr un efecto transparente pero con reflejos destacados. Además, incorporé destellos luminosos como un sutil homenaje a su chaqueta, haciendo referencia a mi nombre.

To align with the challenge's reference, I added chains to his arms. After some substantial refinements, including shadows for added realism in the design, you can observe the shadows on his wrist in the second image.

Para cumplir con la referencia del desafío, agregué cadenas a sus brazos. Después de realizar ajustes significativos, incluyendo sombras para darle un toque más realista al diseño, podemos apreciar en la segunda imagen las sombras en su muñeca.

added the respective labels, including your brand's label. On the outside of the packaging, I placed the title "CHAINS" along with a message inside to convey the idea that we should free ourselves from our thoughts and break the chains that hold us back. To give a unique format to the CD, I used the word "PRISON" but shortened it by half so that the right side stands out, accompanied by a prominent glow. As for the word's imprints, I simply duplicated the text and used the bevel tool to emphasize its texture.

Agregué las etiquetas correspondientes, incluyendo la de tu marca. En el exterior del empaque, coloqué el título "CADENAS" junto con una frase en su interior para transmitir el mensaje de que debemos liberarnos de nuestros pensamientos y romper las cadenas que nos limitan. Para darle un formato especial al CD, utilicé la palabra "PRISION", pero la acorté a la mitad para que el lado derecho sea más visible, acompañado por un resplandor destacado. En cuanto a las huellas de la palabra, simplemente duplicé el texto y opté por la herramienta de bisel para resaltar su textura.

So, nearing the end of the design, and after experimenting with various colors, I came to the conclusion that to make it stand out and convey the message more profoundly, a dark background is the way to go. I hope you enjoyed it, and it's an honor if you can see it. Greetings!

Así, llegando al final del diseño y después de probar varios colores, llegué a la conclusión de que para resaltar y darle más profundidad al mensaje, es mejor mantener un fondo oscuro. Espero que les haya gustado y que puedan apreciarlo. Para mí, es un honor. ¡Saludos!
