MY 1 WEEK EXPERIENCE ON STEEMIT

I have been asking every single person I've met ever since I joined steemit if they've heard about it in one way or another but to my surprise, none of them has heard anything about it; including the ones that claim to spend most of their working hours online. And it makes me wonder how so many people have heard nothing about this wonderful community.

Like I said in my introductory post, I joined steemit with the help and consistent motivation of @smyle. He just kept pushing and advising me to join but laziness won't allow me see any sense in what he was telling me then; and I was also looking at myself as though I don't have the ability to start a blog. I regret not joining when he told me to but it's better late than never and I'm glad I'm a steemian now. 

My experience so far has been amazing and challenging at the same time. Steemit has been making my brain work harder and better than it used to every single minute these days. I listen to things and look at things happening around me lately with a different mindset now, which is; the intention of writing on it. Like today for instance, I was just looking at my sister and the way she was acting naughty, and I thought to myself, "I can write about her on steemit".

I've been pushing myself lately also to read more to enable my brain get used to new styles of writing. As we all know, the beginning of most new things are sometimes discouraging but one has to remain determined and keep pushing. These are the words I use in consoling my growth in the community. 

Although, I'm still trying to understand so many things about steemit and crypto currency generally and I know with time I'll get to understand it. I'm practically becoming addicted to steemit that I can't remember the last time I spent up to 5 minutes checking my facebook and instagram page. I'm not even worried about them because I'm enjoying my new addiction.
