John lives with his family in Murshidabad. But they are Muslims. In Murshidabad his grandfather was a member of a zamindar family. The influential people of the village are called zamindars.
They were descendants of zamindars from a long time ago. John's uncle died of a major illness. But he is not allowed to be buried in Murshidabad. Because there are more Hindu people here, the people there used to say to burn this corpse in the fire. But there is no such rule in Muslim religion. John's family is all citizens of Bangladesh. They live in Murshidabad due to the jobs of their father and uncle.
When John's uncle's grave was not allowed in Murshidabad, they decided to move to Bangladesh with the body and they rented a house in Dhaka for the time being. When they moved to Murshidabad, they moved to their local place and sold their house. Now they had to return to Bangladesh to rent a new house and after renting the house they came to know that people of Hindu community lived here. And they saw many idols in the house.
John's grandmother told everyone that there is no time to think about this now. Today his uncle's body has to be buried. So they are now interested in completing the burial work of his uncle by eliminating the worries about idols and houses.
They had three brothers who studied with their grandmother at night and she was their home teacher. One night everyone was studying with his grandmother. Going to the last stage of studying, John's grandmother said that I have finished work from the upper floor. When you finish your studies, you will fall asleep in bed. The lone man was 12 years old, besides two younger brothers, one 8 years old and the other 6 years old. Everyone nodded at Grandma's words.
When Grandma went to the roof they were studying. After a while John noticed well. Her grandmother is sitting at the door, her hair is messy and she is smiling loudly. Everyone was scared by Grandma's behavior. John said, "Grandma, what happened to you?" Why are you doing that Grandma started laughing in the same way without giving any answer. Frightened, they all got up on the bed.
After a while, her grandmother started coming towards them with a smile and started scaring them. John then realized something and said you will not come to us. You stay there, Grandma, so everyone started crying. Meanwhile, his grandmother came into the room and the one who was scared disappeared. Grandma said what happened to you? Why are you crying? John didn't understand then because they were small. After telling the incident to his grandmother.
After hearing the incident, the grandmother understood and told them that it was me. Do not be afraid. I was checking to see if you were studying well.
But her grandmother realized it wasn't her. People can now be scared if small children are told their true story. And John shared this incident with John when he was much older. When John heard the incident, his hair stood on end and John was terrified. John also experienced many other incidents in that house. From which it is understood that their house was haunted.
