There was no beach today. But...
There was a park in the city! We went and met Daddy's friends there. They have kids too but I didn't play with them as I am more of a lone gunman type and even climbed up on the grassy knoll. However, in the picture here I am train surfing which I am pretty sure would be awesome and even more exciting when doing it on a hyperloop one day. I won't wear my hat at 1200 km/h though.
But the other train I was surfing today was the endless daycare one. Today was my first full day and I had to have a nap there. I took the 'bare minimum' 30 minutes, just enough to recover but not long enough for them to think they have broken my spirit. I am pretty tired.
However, Daddy's worst fears are being realized as I am "learning" from the other children and, they aren't very intelligent. So far, I have learned how to baby talk, something I never did as a baby (Is almost 2 still a baby) and, I now ask to be held in Mummy's lap all the time, again something I have never really done before. It is kind of like 'Flowers for Algernon', as Charlie digresses back into his old self except, I am going all the way back to babbling baby.
I am also learning to play a little with others and today, I made a friend. I can't tell you her name here so I will call her Mary. My new friend Mary consoled me today because I got a little frustrated. I was hard at work on a puzzle and couldn't get the last piece in and I snapped. This happened just as Mummy arrived to get me, she shouldn't have to see me like that. But Mary, being my best friend patted my head like a dog to make me feel better. Dogs have good lives I think and being patted helped calm me down. Tomorrow, I am going to solve that damn puzzle though...
Well, just a short one tonight because after such a micro nap (It wasn't a coffee nap) and all of the running in the park, I am a little bit beat so will call it a night and hit the hay.
Hei hei (that is Finnish for Goodbye).
