Yesterday, there was an incident. A friend of Daddy's wanted to make me go wheeeeeeeeee and swung me by the arms but, it hurt a little and everyone was a bit worried so, I got myself anther bandage to hold my arm in place, just in case.
I am fine, don't worry about me.
The friend who destroyed my arm was so upset, she was crying. It wasn't her fault though of course as kids are kids, things happen. Lots of things happen it seems. Luckily it happened at the end of the day though so it didn't interrupt our plans too much.
Us kids are pretty robust when it comes to these types of events. Our bodies are pretty rubbery and I have been developing an extra layer of protection to give the inevitable falls, a softer landing. I am 'squishy' but squishy by design making it, tactical softness.
I am glad that we didn't have to go to the hospital as Daddy went and found a place to buy a bandage and Mummy wrapped it up. It was a miracle as by the time we took the train back and I was in the bath, it was healed. Two more of these events and I think someone qualifies for sainthood.
Uncle and Aunty were worried too and I can understand them even more. Being in a weird place where people talk an ugly language that sounds like they are always angry can take its toll on a mind. Add the heat into the mix and it is a recipe for worrying about a little niece.
This was just a little blip on the radar of what I have gone through so it doesn't get me down for long and this morning I looked at my now unbandaged arm and told Daddy, it doesn't need a bandaid today. Which is lucky because today is a swimming day!!!
I love swimming and I am going to teach uncle @galenkp how to catch fish with bare hands. Every time I am in the water I thrust my hand in to catch a fish. I haven't caught one yet but, it is just a matter of time I am sure. Practice makes perfect.
