Last night, I was taken to a place of dreams, a place with all manner of possibility and where adventure lay around every corner. My parents took me there and it was wonderful. I would like to tell you all about it but I am wondering if it is a secret. Generally, when there is so much potential in something, the masses don't know about it or are wary to use them. I am wondering about this place myself. Is it a scam?
Well, perhaps if you keep it secret and only tell your closest of friends I can whisper it in your ear as I think I would be a bad baby if I kept it all for myself. It is called, the Libry , Laybry? Libriry. No, the Library, that's it.
There were books everywhere! So, so many books I had never even dreamed of with so many things I have never seen. It was like an alternate universe where imagination comes to life. It didn't take me long to plonk myself onto the floor and have a huge pile to go through. I started with animal books as well, animals, who wouldn't?
What I didn't understand was how few people were there and this is what makes me think it is a secret. Why wouldn't more people get on such a wonderful resource? Plus, there were some toys I could play with and rest my reading eyes. And the best part was it is free to enter. Seriously, free!
I sat there reading and playing while mum and dad caught up with old friends. They have kids too, a bit older than me but they were more interested in the tablet games. Screw that... Books!
So, if you really want to have a good time for free, try finding a library, I hear there are many around the place that are underutilised. I think there are many in circulation but are severely undervalued considering what they are capable of. And, especially if you have kids like me, get in early and invest.
