I've been very busy learning Forex trading for the past three months. I enrolled myself in a Forex course, read some books, and eventually applied all the lessons in a live trading account. I can say that trading currencies in Forex is way more challenging than trading stocks and cryptos. The price movements are highly volatile while the structures are very unpredictable. You can gain a hundred dollars in less than an hour or lose your whole capital in minutes if greed takes over.

My emotional and mental power were badly beaten. Imagine staring at the chart for eight hours straight. I experienced that for almost a month. But now I learned to take things slowly. I am already shifting my positions from scalping to position trading.

One could say that my life is one boring existence. It may look like it but this is where my mind seems to be logically challenged. And I really love how trading extracts my analytical juices.

Of course, I still have my ways of having momentary escapes from trading. One of my sweet escapes is finding funny memes on facebook. My feed is usually filled with nonsense humorous memes. Sharing those craps became my drug to the point of being frustrated when I can't find a single meme after hours of scrolling.

My frustrations grew even more after only seeing political posts on my feed. I can't find anything funny aside from Bong Revilla's budots videos - leaving me entertained but at the same time embarrassed.

Imagine scrolling your feed an average of five hours a day just to end up feeling disappointed. Yep. Five hours. A day. That's what my facebook analytics told me. So I thought of ejecting myself from such toxic setup. I just deactivated my account for almost a week already, and I think it really helped me focus on more important things. It also helped me purify my system from being too addicted to memes.

I admit I became more sedentary than usual since I isolated myself from my "virtual sweet escape". I have longer nap times just to relieve boredom. But really, this is way better than being annoyed with political posts. Peace out.
