Still reeling from the presidential political process, it is unfortunate that the two party system has hijacked the entire process thus eliminating the real will of the people. Corporations are the biggest violators with their deep pockets that the politicians can't seem to resist. Both candidates leaves such a sour taste in my mouth that I can't utter their names. I hope we can rally together to get the corporations in check by sealing their purses and controlling the special interest groups. Perhaps, getting rid of all the influence peddlers for a time while we regroup is best. I know this is wishful thinking, but I am a dreamer. Local politics are much more important these days. Maybe we should do everything to keep the feds out our business.
