I think we are all in agreement that we want to attract new people on the platform and keep them there?

If the new guys come (and some do), then get nothing for their work (the ones that give out some decent content), then they leave and spread the word that Steemit sucks, dont bother, a load of crap.. etc..

Bad new spreads like wildfire, and the outside worlds perspective of 'here' is currently abysmal.

Things need to change. It's been like this for years. Can you not give the new ways a chance? The old ways did not work.
