Hive Open mic week #247, Happy new year everyone 🎉 I trust we all are doing okay...How was the festivities at your end? Well I had so much fun 😄,loads to eat and drink 😋. I'm so glad and grateful to God we made it to the new year (2025) 🥂. In line with this week's theme "Nostalgy", I decided to cover a classic by American singer, songwriter, and actor Marc Anthony called "I need you". This record was released over two decades ago (2002) and is still an amazing song to date. Well written, beautiful instrumentation and awesome vocals. I still have this nostalgic feeling whenever I listen to it, it gives me joy when I think of the beautiful memories this classic brings. I was still a child when this record was released but I grew up listening to it and enjoying it, it makes more sense to me even now when I listen to it 😊.

"I Need You" expresses the intense emotions associated with love and the desire for someone’s presence. You really can't do without this person, they make you happy, calm and at peace, so you yearn for them always. You really can't deny the fact that you love this person. They are your very essence and you really can't imagine doing life without them. You really hope you two get married and live together happily, forever. They make you feel complete and alive and they are so special to you. This song reflects the desire for a lifelong connection filled with love and devotion. Semana 247 de micrófono abierto de Hive, feliz año nuevo a todos 🎉 Confío en que todos estemos bien... ¿Cómo estuvieron las festividades por su parte? Bueno, me divertí mucho 😄, comí y bebí mucho 😋. Estoy muy feliz y agradecido con Dios de haber llegado al nuevo año (2025) 🥂. En línea con el tema de esta semana "Nostalgia", decidí hacer una versión de un clásico del cantante, compositor y actor estadounidense Marc Anthony llamado "I need you". Este disco se lanzó hace más de dos décadas (2002) y sigue siendo una canción increíble hasta la fecha. Bien escrita, hermosa instrumentación y voces increíbles. Todavía tengo esta sensación nostálgica cada vez que lo escucho, me da alegría cuando pienso en los hermosos recuerdos que trae este clásico. Todavía era un niño cuando se lanzó este disco, pero crecí escuchándolo y disfrutándolo, tiene más sentido para mí incluso ahora cuando lo escucho 😊.

"I Need You" expresa las intensas emociones asociadas con el amor y el deseo de la presencia de alguien. Realmente no puedes vivir sin esta persona, te hace feliz, te tranquiliza y te da paz, por lo que la anhelas siempre. Realmente no puedes negar el hecho de que amas a esta persona. Es tu esencia y realmente no puedes imaginarte vivir sin ella. Realmente esperas que se casen y vivan juntos felices, para siempre. Te hacen sentir completo y vivo y son muy especiales para ti. Esta canción refleja el deseo de una conexión de por vida llena de amor y devoción. Espero que todos disfruten 🎧 mi versión de este disco, que tengan un gran año amigos 😉.
