So my love went to see about a job this morning. He has spoken to someone and then was supposed to call him back in a few hours. We tend to sleep in off patterns so when we sat to watch some tv I suggested he set an alarm in case we fell asleep, I didn't want him to miss the time to call back.
Well I began to fall asleep and the phone rang about an hour later. So he didn't need the alarm. He got ready and drove the hour drive to town. We live in the middle of nowhere in North Dakota so anywhere is about an hour away. (Soon we will be back home in our home state...well that is our plan anyway).
So I decided to go get in bed and try to sleep a little because I haven't really slept much in the past few days. I just can't get comfortable. Well that lasted about an hour. Now mind you I had forgotten about the alarm he had set. I got up out of bed and used the restroom about 2 minutes before the set time. Well as I was finishing up low and behold the rooster began doing his thing. The honey likes the roster setting on his alarm because he doesn't really hear them well when they go off the rooster seems to be loud enough most times.
I was hoping the alarm would shut itself off but I guess the device he used doesn't have that feature. As I enter the living room our fur kid is sitting there and looks at me like "it's about time mom! shut that thing up!" Hahaha.
So my day has started out on an interesting note. Hopefully the honey will come home and announce he got the job!
