I have been reading posts about the #payout effects on #steem price. Up to now it seems that those holding & buying further, are more than those who decided to liquidate. I suppose that this has to do with the expectations of higher yields in the future, of which the timescope varies (shortterm, mediumterm, longterm) and will play a significant role to price developments.
This behavior which is surely, among others, linked to the ability to generate profits but also (down)upvoting content, may provide to all of us interested into, useful insights on how money interfere with the public opinion and its shaping. Ofcourse this platform is far more agile and diversified than any other media environment the world ever experienced so far, or so I think. Still, we can draw parallel outcomes between what happens here and what I use to call the legacy "system" inherited by the previous generation.
We will be able to reflect upon it and produce conclusions on how the media environments around the globe could be shaped according to sets of principles we aspire on. The technology is mature enough to support this. Now the question is, how fast will the new paradigm overtake the old one?
