Here are a few stroller walk photos for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
My stroller walks are quite interesting as I try and take my daughter to new places every time so she can see new sights. This tunnel had the effect of a cool echo and she now clicks her tongue to test reverb in various areas because of this tunnel.
The lake is always quite popular and she is always looking for geese and ducks by the lake.
Here is a new sight, we found a toothbrush caterpillar. Caterpillar was a bit tough for her to pronounce at first but finally she mostly got it.
We found a super tame dove to. I was able to get within a few feet of it to get this shot with my cell phone. My daughter immediately recognized it as a bird, bird bird bird she shouted as it flew to the next branch.
I'm not sure she quite understood these aphids were living things. I just got her to say bug for these guys.
Ooomph football tryouts were today and she was kind of leery of these strange shapes that you crash into.
Score! A free toy. Just kidding, now that I'm a parent I am always finding toys that kids throw out of their strollers. I hung this up, maybe the parent will find it again. We've lost a few toys and socks along the way lol.
Around town I've found a few more cicada sculptures. This one was in a fancy spa salon. Extra credit to them for putting the actual shells on their display.
A wine store had one hiding out behind fake grapes in a planter in front of their store. My daughter immediately wanted to take the plastic grapes away as a toy.
Now for flowers, they are out everywhere.
This walk my daughter got to collect one cicada shell and one flower. They usually end up being dropped before we go inside but its a good lesson in teaching words. She also learned how to say Cicada today.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
