Spring has been gray on my walks this week. I randomly happened upon an art installation in progress that kind of hit some synchronicity with a project I'm working on right now.
I'll be posting more about this project on #trippythursday its just an animation to go with one of my music videos. Its funny how there is a large sculpture very similar happening out in the arboretum at the same time lol.
Meanwhile out in nature the geese are always flying overhead. This time I was fast enough to get a zoom shot of them as they buzzed me.
They are headed to the lake of course. The lake house is looking nice and reflective with lots of green surrounding it.
Meanwhile there is a spy in the water. I think this might be a baby red eared slider poking his head out to look for scary photographers. I'm sure eventually I'll get a shot of one of these tiny guys on a rock soon.
Here's this year's first red admiral. They are loving the flower blooms around here.
Meanwhile there is a copper headed black bird plotting nefarious plans on how to lay one of her eggs into a smaller song bird's nest somewhere. If only they put their smarts into building their own nests instead of being devious.
Here's a kingbird being a communist and stealing bedding out of a song sparrow's nest. The bird kingdom is filled with strife.
Now the sun is going down and the reeds are getting highlighted by the last rays of light. All sorts of nocturnal critters live in here like possums, racoons and foxes. Maybe I'll have to stay here after dark with a floodlight to see if I can get shots of any of them.
And now its time to go home as its getting dark. This walk put the baby to sleep well. We gotta do stroller walks every day otherwise she gets restless at night and keeps us up.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
