Here are a few more grayscale doodles I made in illustrator for this #trippythursday by blacklux@blacklux

The sphere descended from pitch black night only getting illuminated by a street lamp above. Where it came from nobody knows. But our best guess is outer space. What is its mission here on earth?

It has landed in the middle of the road and will begin its task shortly. For now it has paused time around it and nothing is moving not even the wind.

First it has to run a few diagnostics and scan the area for stability. Each tiny sensor on the surface gathers multiple nodes of information to create an accurate representation of its surroundings. Perhaps this is a probe that will bring back information to a sentient race of beings who designed it.

During its scanning process it ran across a doily located in a home nearby. The patterns intrigued the ai system onboard and it spent hours of paused time downloading every doily pattern on earth.

Its next task was to map the topography of the planet. Perhaps this information will be used for ground troops during the invasion in the near future...

Now that its scans are done the internal gyroscope engine has started. It needs to absorb kinetic sub-frequency energies from its surroundings to get its perpetual motion machine started inside.

Now it has gathered enough energy and plasma photons are charging up on its exterior. It is nearly ready to blast off into space again.

Pow it is gone in an instant creating some kind of warp tunnel wormhole in the process. Humans on the ground only noticed a slight ringing in their ear as time has gone back to normal with the alien sphere gone.

Now the probe has returned to its makers and will be plugged back into its designated divet. From here it will upload its information to the overmind. The overmind is quite pleased with the doily patterns and decided not to send invaders to plunder the earth for raw materials, for now...

That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
