Here are some post rain finds for #mushroommonday
Spring is almost over and we had plenty of rain to feed the plants.
Lots of fresh turkeytail is growing. When it is fresh and new it is easy to peel off the tree.
Deaman's fingers are crawling out from the creases of tree bark.
Bird's nest fungi love the rain and start emerging. Eventually they will dry out and spread fungi eggs everywhere.
Look at this strange little fungi... Nevermind it is actually a red velvet mite.
Here is an ink cap hiding in the hollow of a tree.
Here is a rare Ashley Gray Ladybug, I have only seen these a couple times.
Here are some mycenas getting eaten by a slug.
I'm not sure what this large mushroom is. It was quite waterlogged and hidden inside a rotten log.
Meanwhile the rest of the forest is filled with cicadas. They are all still a bit cold in the morning. Once it warms up these guys will be loud and flying around everywhere.
