Here is a post just about forest bathing.
One of my favorite hobbies is forest bathing.
Here in the midwest there are many thick forests to explore.
Each forest seems to have its own aura about it. This one was very quiet with some small cheeping here and there from various birds.
This forest had a wooden lookout tower. As you can see there is not much topology here, thus we have to build lookout towers to check for fires and to get nice views.
Back down on the ground various waterfalls and streams can generate a bit of fog in areas.
This area has numerous waterfalls that generate lots of water particles in the air. Perfect conditions for forest gloom when the sun is behind the clouds.
If only I would have brought some swim trunks I could have waded down the river a bit.
Bright green moss makes the forest gloom less gloomy.
Every now and then the sun will pierce through the trees making nice shadows.
Next to the river banks you can see trees struggling to hang on before the erosion makes them tumble down.
Now its time to go back into the thickness of the forest looking for mushrooms. Fortunately the mosquitos aren't as bad this year.
That's all for now, thanks for looking and take some time to forest bathe sometime.
