It was just 30 days ago that I heard about SteemIt from a friend of mine. I was intrigued by the idea that there is a social networking site that actually pays. So I thought I would give it a try. What would I lose right? At first it was difficult to know all the terms and how each elements on the website work. Very soon I realized that although the UI is not that great the programming itself is brilliant. Being a IT graduate I could Imagine how much tirelessly the developers have worked to make such a platform.
I quickly searched through Youtube about Steemit and saw videos that promises thousand of dollars through spam commenting and posts. I didn't go that route though. I decided to give each post some time and not just spammed. I know lots of people have succeed a lot more in a month time than me, but this was definitely a learning experience. I did not had any knowledge about cryptocurrencies before i started on steemit. Steemit forced me to do a lot of research.
The highest I have earned from a post is about 3$ and from comment 1$. I'm still working on gaining followers.
Beside steemit I'm an entrepreneur. I own several business. My recent one is YC Bakery and Cafe, a casual cafe with lots of bakery Items. Others are Tshirt Printing, garments, jackets and electronics shop.
I look forward to good days ahead. I spend atleast an hour a day on Steemit due to lack of time. I get busy a lot on other works as well.
