we're in week 3 of our art journey. We dedicate the whole of January to Abstract Art and especially to the Artist
For thirteen years she worked as a teacher for weaving and other textile arts at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich from 1916 on.
The works from this period count as one of the earliest Constructivist art
In 1926 she and her Husband fellow artist Jean Arp moved to France where they took citizenship.
Their circle of friends included artist like Sonia Delaunay, Robert Delaunay, Wassily Kandinsky, Joan Miró, and Marcel Duchamp.
This weeks challenge is to emulate one of her paintings with either acrylic paint or watercolours.
