It is good to be good. It is not good to be bad. Treating others good is good. It is not good to treat people bad. The way you treat others is the way you will be treated. Even the Bible tells us so. It says we should do to others what we want others to do for us. We should be good to others if we want others to do us good also. We should treat people the way we want them to treat us. Being good should be our lifestyle. We are not going to demand that others should do us bad. We therefore must endeavor to be good to others. That is why it is good to be good. There is no way how it could be good with us when we treat others bad.
Everyone will receive the things that he has done in his life according to what is works is. When we treat people good, we are laying up for ourselves good treasures in return. There is no gain saying, God pays everyone according to his or her works. What we are told to do is based on what God knows it will be good with us. The world is going to be a good place to live when we obey the commandments of God. The Lord Jesus Christ told us that he has given us a new commandments to love one another. Loving others is a good thing. So, the commandments of God is that we should do good to others.
Good works should not be by words of the mouth only. We should not just be acquainted with the knowledge of it. We should be doers of the work. We will not please God if we are only talking about it and claiming knowledge of it without doing it. Let us do good to all men. For this is the commandments of God.
