Today we will go to the oldest Park of the city of Krasnodar - "City garden". Its history starts from 1846 when Prince Vorontsov ordered to split the parks in most major cities southern region of Russia. Next year this beautiful Park of Kuban will celebrate its 170th anniversary.

Many years ago as Ekaterinodar (now Krasnodar) arrived Jacob Bichelmeyer who turned 6 years this garden at the centre of development of horticulture of the Krasnodar region and the entire Caucasus. He was brought here from the Crimea, many convoys of tens of thousands of vines, 1 000 cuttings and seedlings of ornamental and fruit trees. And thanks to him that we see today in the Park so many different trees and shrubs.
And in 1922, after the civil war, the Park began to rebuild and to take more energetic steps to bring this wonderful place to a more polished look. In honor of this landmark event have remained in the Park that is a memorial arch. At that time, many plantations of the Park was replenished with a large number of valuable and rare ornamental trees and shrubs.
