Forgiveness could also mean to pardon, to waive any negetive feeling and desire for punishement.

In our every day life, people get us annoyed either by abusive speech, screaming or insult. This may come from friends, family members, parent, workmate, schoolmate etc.

When such ordeal manifest, what should we do?

WE SHOULD FORGIVE THEM FROM OUR HEART

Forgiveness doesnt mean we should condon a wrong or pretent like it did not happen.

  • our forgiving our offender reflects understanding on our side. Knowing that we all err in word and indeed
  • forgiveness is also an important facet of love, as a result it is a perfect bond of union.

Forgiveness show a sign of healthier relationship, which involves understanding, and feeling of empathy

  • it also shows that we have improved mentally and spiritual well-being
  • it lower symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress

Forgiveness is not all about just the offender, it also involve forgiving oneself

There are things you wished you never do, act that always hurt you anytime it crosses your mind, which you may live forever regretting.
< forgiving oneself can be the most difficult to achieve but not-withstanding, it is most important to mental and physical health.

WHAT CAN HELP ONE TO FORGIVE ONESELF?

  • Be realistic that -like any other person, you are pron to make mistakes. Never expect perfection from yourself.
  • Some bad habbit and personal flaws may not disappear over night, try to be patient with yourself.
  • Take responsiblity of your actions and be quick to apologize when you offend others.
  • mingle with friends who will being out the best in you, to stay potive and recieve encouragement

Unforgiving people may...

  • Become anxious, severely depress
  • have all focused on a wrong, depriving them of enjoying life
  • lead to isolation and loneliness
