What is Playbypost

Play post games are played as follows.

1. The gamemaster will post the current state of the game (I.e. Turn info)
   And moves NPC’s

2. Each player then posts there actions for the turn.
   Here on Steem we use Dice Bots to determine the outcome of the players actions.

3. the gamemaster will respond to players and answer any rules questions.

4. The next day a new turn is posted until the win conditions are met..

These types of games are mostly board games and Role Playing Games (RPG’s). One of the big appeals to the RPG is it lets the player take their turn as they have time throughout the day.
Some players can’t get together every week for 4 hours for a RPG session but can play for 30 - 45 minutes daily.

Currently here on Steem @happyme runs one of the longest games a zombie survival board game.
