One of my favourite subjects to paint is stormy seascapes on the 14th of February 2014 my home town experienced the most devastating storm for generations. The St Valentine's Day storm was astonishing in it's power. Before the storm kicked in I walked down to the local seaside and took a photograph of the increasingly scary sea and sky. Afterwards I created this painting of this moment. I hope you enjoy it!
