Don't fight hate with hate

Hatred is a fire that can only be extinguished by understanding and forgiveness. He who responds to hatred with more hatred only fans the flames of discord. He will never succeed in attracting allies to his cause, for rancour blinds hearts and poisons souls. Only through the wisdom to love even those who offend us can we defuse the vicious circle of resentment and forge true bonds of brotherhood. The path of hatred leads to emptiness, while the path of love leads to fulfilment.v
