This one is a part of a big family of butterflies, and one of many that we have here in Israel (like the one I posted last week). they are usually extremely fast and shy, but early in the morning, this one was standing on the bank of a small stream, providing me with a nice bokeh effect.
The resulting photo satisfied me so much that I had to give it its own post :)
