Hello dear friends,
Today I want to share with you another exploration that this time I did almost at night, yes because I carried out this activity some time ago when the hours of sunlight were few. So, while strolling through the alleys of this beautiful village, night fell, and for the first time, I must say, I tried this nighttime exploration, and I have to say it was a beautiful experience.
Today I want to share with you some photos that I took in Vicopisano, a beautiful place located in the province of Pisa, always in Tuscany. It is practically a fortified village that develops along the slopes of Mount Pisano, and naturally, its origins date back to around the year one thousand when this place was a battleground between Pisa, Lucca, and Florence.
We can say without a shadow of a doubt that the most interesting thing found here is the castle called Rocca del Brunelleschi, precisely because it was conceived and created by the great architect Filippo Brunelleschi, the one who designed the famous dome in Florence that many of you visiting Florence have surely seen, also because we can say that it does not go unnoticed as a dome.
What I discovered is that here you can take long walks in this village, but also around the village, there are many paths where you can hike, and I've even seen some people on bicycles.
Naturally, as the light fades, this village becomes even more mysterious and beautiful. If you noticed in some photos, I must say that those who manage these places have been very intelligent because they have practically positioned lights to illuminate the path, even for the more romantic people who may want to spend an evening here.
In this village, like in other villages, I found several cats roaming freely, and they are somewhat the masters. It is always nice to find these animals because they keep you company during your visit, and sometimes they may even be more approachable than humans.
In conclusion, I can say that Vicopisano is a place worth seeing because it is very characteristic with its fortress, and from the village, you can see a beautiful panorama. Besides, you know well that I always cheer for these places off the beaten tourist paths that are much quieter.
Thank you, I wish you a good day, and see you soon.
