My cruise continues and this time, I arrived in Port Mahón, Menorca, a place that I had absolutely never visited in my life, in fact I had never been in the Balearic Islands and I must say that I liked it as a small and very characteristic place, even if in this period it is full of tourists but it is normal that it is like this.
I have to say that I really liked the place, it's a huge natural port along the sea, it's full of restaurants, bars and clubs, naturally there will be a lot more life in the evening, I imagine, but I have to say that even during the day they were very busy, let's say that it's a place that is pleasant especially for people who like to drink, like cocktails, things of that kind.
I took a walk, let's say, along the main street, and unfortunately I couldn't delve into the history of this place, but I saw many interesting churches that I would have liked to visit, but unfortunately, as I always say, there's no time.
I also went to visit very quickly, precisely at the insistence of my parents, the famous Gin Xoriguer, which is practically one of the most famous spirits that is produced here and it would also be interesting to visit the factory where they produce it precisely because there are also guided tours which unfortunately I was unable to do due to the rush, I tasted a little of this type of rum but in reality it tastes very much like lemon, precisely because I put a little lemonade in it, something very strange.
Thank you for reading this post, there will not be another stop because in the end the cruise ended with this stop in Minorca precisely because I did not get off in Alghero and I enjoyed the last moments of the ship
