Some years ago I photographed this beautiful girl named Maria in the backyard of my house.
This was the second time we had seen each other in person, after she had visited a solo exhibition I did in 2015.
At the time, Maria was still a minor, so even though I invited her for the photos, we still had to wait a while until she turned 18.
I really enjoyed these photos and every time I look at them I fall in love with the simplicity and delicacy of a different image. Today, my favorite is the one I chose to be the cover of this post. What about yours?
I feel excited to do some portraits again now that most of the population is vaccinated here in Brazil and I intend to do it again soon.
