My posting frequency here has decreased a lot in the last few days, due to a routine that is more busy than usual. So, today I bring pictures and reports of my last two bike rides through the region where I live, done in the last Sundays.
These rides have been the only way to keep my sanity after so much time locked at home and alone most of the time.
As usual, 
I have had a knee problem for over 10 years now, and bike trail riding has always been an unthinkable thing for me. My bad knee, by the way, has been a problem on these rides, but I have been researching ways to improve this discomfort. Especially now that the trails are getting more intense and with increasing obstacles.
On the first tour, we traveled a stretch between the cities of Itatiba and Jarinu, both in the interior of the state of São Paulo.
I relied on Google maps and, well, they are not exactly up to date. Despite showing existing paths on the satellite images, when we arrived we realized that many of these paths were actually inside rural properties. We ended up needing to pass through narrow trails in the middle of various plantations, especially a gigantic cornfield. We got a little lost, but it was worth every minute of the adventure.
On the way back we came across an eggplant plantation, where many units had not been harvested and were beginning to spoil. We opened our backpack and took some eggplants that would be lost. Lunch that day was guaranteed, as you can see below. heheh
Estrada da Bocaína
On the second tour, we return once again to the Bocaína Road. This road connects the cities of Itatiba, Morungaba and Campinas, through its rural district: Joaquim Egídio.
The road is full of beautiful scenery and some even slightly unusual sights, such as this "cave" that was probably formed as a result of a landslide. But it looks beautiful with the sunlight over it.
Again we had some trouble finding the exact path we wanted to take. At this point in the journey we were exactly deciding which direction to take and, in an attempt to discover new routes, we made the wrong decision, following a trail that ended up nowhere. But once again the adventure made up for any frustration.
I live in a very mountainous region, where it is difficult to find trails that do not have hills to climb. By bike, big climbs are always a problem, but around here there is no escaping them. So long rides like the one we did last Sunday (40 km), get even more tiring.
After riding for a few hours, we stopped for a well-deserved rest before taking the road back home. On the way back, I even stopped to make these images of scenes that caught my attention along the way.
