Hello hivers, I hope you are having a nice Sunday. Today I went to my mom as I use to do every Sunday. It's a way to stay close to her and to her heart since we lost my dad 4 months ago. To be honest, my heart is still crying for my dad, but wen I visit my mom I do my best to stay up and to help her to stay up chatting about this and that.
Maybe it's because I have experienced a recent loss and my heart and my soul are still fragile, but I can't stop to think about people who are suffering now in Ukraine for the horrible war. I know there are a lot of fake news and misinformation around cause not everyone in her/his own country is free to speak, but fortunately we can read (and share, to help them) the reports from Ukrainian hivers and other peole from Ukraine. I want to thanks them cause I can image it's not simple to report what's happening in that horrible situation. I want to thank also all the journalists from all the world who are there now in person to report us about the war risking their lives to give us te right information.
This morning I thought about a symbol of the peace like a dove that carries an olive branch and I decided to paint one of my usual birds to represent that symbol of peace:
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A5 size and I took some pics during the process to share with you:
