Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! Here today is an holiday, because every June 2th here in Italy we celebrate the Festa della Repubblica ( it means "Republic Day").
TheEvery year, in this day, we commemorate the 1946 Italian referendum in which the Italian people decided on the form of government after the Second World War and the fall of Fascism and, sure, people decided for a Republic (instead of the monarchy). ❤️
Yesterday I had a very busy Sunday spent doing this and that, but this morning I felt the need to come back to my brushes and colors and so now I can share with you a new artwork I just finished:
As you can see, the subject is an human figure in my own illustrative style with the hair in form of a couple of clouds where I added one of my usual tiny scenes about home.
Tis piece is an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size (my favorite size when I paint on paper) and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painting this figure on my small working table so you can see the process too:
