Hello hivers, an happy Friday to you all!

Another week is almost over, the weekend is just around the corner and I'm sitting in front of my laptop with a warm cup of good tea in my hand, everything looks ok and my mood is very positive, what's better? _

After some different artworks I shared with you during the previous week, today I'm here to share with you one of my favorite subject: the stag (in Italy we call it "cervo")!
I like to paint woodland animals, but it's been a long time since I painted one of them, so this morning I felt the need to paint a new stag of my and you can see the final result in the following pic:

A detail of the painting:

As you can see, the subject is a young stag in my own illustrative style, similar to the ones I painted in the past. This time, instead to add my usual little leaves on the body (I use to paint that kind of "texture" in the most part of my artworks _ ) I decided to add some tiny white stags.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, as I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted this stag so you can see the steps of the process :

It was not simple to work with my little helper on my legs, but he seemed very interested about what I'm doing (or maybe it was a sort of message to ask me why I was not painting a cat like him _).

Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom)!

I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
