Hello hivers, an happy Tuesday to you all! Another hot day here and we started to experience the forth heat wave. I really hope this is the last heat wave of this summer, but August is just around the corner and I'm pretty sure we have to wait another month or more to breath cooler air. 馃槉
A couple of days ago, while I was talking with my friend Elena, she said that she would have liked to see a giraffe painted by me. Even if years ago I painted a couple of giraffes in a very tiny size, I couldn't resist to paint a new one and so this morning (as usual I woke up soon to work with my brushes and colors during the cooler hours of the day) I worked on it.
I just finished to paint it so now I can show you the final result:
The giraffes, as you know, are the tallest living terrestrial animals and I'm very intrigued by their long long neck. You know I love to paint animals (and also humans) with long long neck! 馃榿
This piece is an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do when I want to share a new piece with you, I took some photos while I was painting it:
