An happy Wednesday to all Hive people! It was a very very hot day here in my area, but this morning we had a nice surprise: a local street artist visited our bookshop and we found a beautiful girl who is reading a book next to the mailbox!
It was really a sweet suprise for us! The piece is not painted directly on the wall, because that artist (the nickname of the local artist is LDB) use stencils and that part of the wall is not smooth enough for that tecnique. The girl is painted on a shape of cardboard.

Just to know, in the afternoon someone took the girl. It was a bit sad, but don't worry, it's not so strange. I think it's part of this kind of street art. Some years ago my hubby made something similar along the alleys of my city, some tiny nice shapes made using cardboard, placed in some corners and just after few hours someone took them. I'd like to think those shapes are inside the home of someone who loves art (I hope).
