Today is a grey day here in my city, but my daughter came to my house for some hours and so everything looks more brilliant (and less silent ^_^). I didn't work on a painting, because I enjoy a bit of time with her, but I had fun to take a couple of pics that could be nice idea for some artworks.
For the first one I chose a couple of different leaves I found in my backyard and I painted an eye on each of them:
Sometimes I like to use natural elements like the leaves to exercise my imagination, but I like to do it also using some materials I find in the chaos of my lab. For example, today I found some scraps of a cardboard that I painted in freedom a couple of years ago and so I use them ofr a sort of "abstract" pic:
I like the different textures of them and the pic reminds me a sort of strange village full of tiny houses ^_^
Well, now I have to come back to my daughter for an hot cup of coffee!
