Hello hivers, an happy Friday to you all!
The weekend is just around the corner and I'm pretty sure it will be another very hot weekend. The forecast news said now we are having the third heat wave and in a couple of days we will have the fourth one. To be honest, at the moment I'd like to be in December to breath the cold air. 🙃
This morning, like I do every day, I woke up soon to work with my brushes and oil colors during the first hours of the day, when the air is not hot like during the other hours of the day.
Cause the very hot weather is not so simple for me to work on new artworks because I feel myself always tired and my mind doesn't have the right level of energy to think about new subjects or complex scenes.
Because of this, this time I decided for a simple scene:
As you can see in the pics, I painted a simple sail boat in the shades of grey on a background all in the shades of blue to represent a seascape.
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and I also took some pics while I was painting it on my small working table so you can see the process too:
Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Saatchi shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home!
