Well, it's a sunny Sunday here, but not exactly a "normal" Sunday because we here we are in the day 25 (I'm losing count of days, sorry) of the lockdown. All around it's a desert and the only sounds are the birds singing around and some voices from the gardens close to mine.
I used my time to cook something good to eat for me and my hubby (pancakes with chocolate! ) and reading a book under the sun in my own backyard. Yes, thinking about people who live in small apartments with no garden or balcony I know I'm lucky.
Some days ago I wrote about a collaboration I started with a publishing house called Barta Edizioni for a series of illustrations/images to share on social media and so I want to show you the last one (published on their page here just yesterday):
Thinking about books and about the difficult time for every publishing house and bookshops, I imagined one of my tiny houses (I draw them in digital) on a couple of old books.
It's very funny to create this kind of image, because at first I take a pic in my backyard, where there is the right natural light) and after I use my graphic table to draw.
Thinking about the theme "house", I want to show you one of my old work: a sort of journal full of tiny simple houses, all made using scratch of cardboard boxes:
I think I'll create something similar during the next days ^_^
