“Are those rain clouds Silvertop?”😅
Nope…….not a drop of rain is in the near forecast!
What you are seeing, in the first couple of photos, is called “morning gloom”!😇
The foothills of Sumas Mountain are less than a half hour drive to the Ocean. In the cool of the morning, clouds roll in from the Ocean, and pile up against the Mountains.
This creates what looks like an approaching rainstorm’s across the valley!
Only 500 feet higher, starting with the third photo taken at the “Gold Mine Trail” today, it’s noticeably greener, and cooler!😊
Ahhh….. That’s one of the reasons Silvertop loves the Mountains Lol!☺️
Then almost magically by the afternoon, the clouds continue their Eastward journey, giving way to blue skies!😎
Sunny days in the 80’s and nights in the 50’s………Summer should continue all year long Lol!😇
Silvertop has to run…… I have some hiking to do!🤗
