One of my favorite trails, the “High Trail”, disappeared into the clouds today……..
Switchback, after switchback, I climbed, until I reached a fork in the trail that takes me to Keith and Lynne’s network of trails!
Hmmm………Keith has been busy!😊
It looks like he has a different strategy for harvesting maple syrup this year.
He is using metal taps with these recycled, plastic jugs!😇
I checked several jugs, and most were empty. Either Keith has just emptied these jugs, or the sap has not yet started to flow.🤔
Darkness was catching up with Silvertop, I was deep in the forest…….
Time to call it a day, Cot will be expecting Dad to build him a fire!😻
