Guys this is how quick the Weather can turn on a dime in the Pacific Northwest!

A good day………..it’s nice to get back to a regular week, and have things slow down a bit!
A bit of weed eating, and yard work, and then the rain started.😅
I grabbed my raincoat, and enjoyed being back hiking on Sumas Mountain!☺️
Take a look at the Big Leaf Maple in the fourth photo, they are huge!!!😲
Liz and Silvertop tapped a Big Leaf Maple for Maple Syrup……..
Unfortunately we must have timed this a bit too late, I think we could cook the raw syrup down and maybe get one Tablespoon Lol!🤣

Liz is working all week for a coworker, so Silvertop’s rainy hike was a solo hike!
As the rain continues Liz is getting her “indoor “ Actifit steps for today!
